Alex and his two children live in Pacifica, Ca. Pacifica is a small wooded beach town only 15 minutes south of San Francisco. This climate lends to cooler temperatures throughout the year and features some of the most beautiful forest in the world.

The environment helped dictate the style of architecture. To best integrate the home, the Cadillac brand, and the vehicle, I chose to create an "A Frame" slope home. About 2/3rd's of the home is built directly into the mountain side. This helps the large home to sustainably cool in the summer and efficiently retain heat in the winter months.

The home fits the Cadillac brand with its sharp angular lines and verticality. The home is also nestled and elevated on a perched oasis on top of the world.

The home has 3 levels that are each partially built into the mountain side. The main entrance, Level One, features a home office a modern glass stairwell and an all glass elevator lift. The Second
Level is the main living area for the family. Level Three is the largest and the most recessed into the mountain. This level is the amenities level that includes a
pool, gym, sauna, and second kitchen and dining area.
